Senior Adult Ministry
There are more than 120 people who are a part of the PBC CLASSICS Senior Adult Ministry. Our Senior Adult Ministry is a place to Connect, Grow and Serve by getting plugged in to the work of the Kingdom! Our Senior Adults are an essential part of many ministries within our church. PBC is a multi-generational church in the Tri-County area and our Senior Adults enjoy Bible studies, fellowships, trips and opportunities of service in our church and community.
Every Senior Adult is cordially invited to join us in Fellowship, Bible Study, Worship, Outreach and other Ministry opportunities. Who is this invitation for?
Everyone 55 years “young” and up. Older adults are the fastest growing age demographic in many congregations. So if you are 55 or over, you’re welcome to come join us as People Helping People Follow Jesus!

Mission Statement
We seek to glorify God as we continue to CONNECT the Senior Adults of Palmetto Baptist Church with those in the tri-county area; to enhance their lives, encourage them to GROW in the LORD, and to challenge them to SERVE the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul and strength.
We would love for you to be a part of this vibrant ministry, as we “consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:24)

What Do We Do?
- Bible Studies: Seniors have a number of options for Sunday Morning Bible Study Classes at 10:00 AM and in Small Groups which meet on and off PBC‘s campus.
- Day Trips: Several day trips are organized for Senior Adults during the year.
- On-Going Ministry to Homebound and Nursing Home Members
- Associational Senior Adult Events: Annual Fish Fry, special Bible studies, other special events.
